Without advocacy vulnerable people cannot be heard or given credence… They cannot be supported, protected or defended and their rights will be lost. Without advocacy vulnerable people have no power and will be invisible.

Losing my Poppy was the catalyst for my advocacy. Through word and deed, Poppy taught me about leadership and compassion. Advocates are essential for vulnerable populations. I will use my voice to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. We must ensure that every patient and care resident has access to an advocate each day.
